Live is an American rock band formed in 1984 in York, Pennsylvania. The original lineup consisted of Ed Kowalczyk (vocals), Chad Taylor (guitar), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), and Chad Gracey (drums). The band achieved commercial success with their 1994 album "Throwing Copper," which featured hits like "I Alone" and "Lightning Crashes." Their music blends alternative rock and post-grunge elements.
