Lucas & Arthur Jussen

Lucas and Arthur Jussen are Dutch pianists who form a piano duo. Born in 1993 and 1996, they began performing publicly in childhood. They come from a musical family; their mother is a flutist, and their father plays timpani in the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. They studied with renowned teachers, including Maria João Pires. In 2010, they signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon, and their debut album featuring Beethoven's sonatas achieved platinum status. Other notable recordings include works by Schubert, Mozart, and Rachmaninoff. They have collaborated with orchestras such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Concertgebouworkest.
