Mai-Liis

Mai-Liis is a Canadian singer and songwriter who blends elements of jazz, pop, and folk. She is from Toronto, but musically matured in Vancouver. After returning to songwriting in 2016, she released her debut Mai-Liis On Life in 2021, followed by the album Kaleidoscope (2024). Her music is intimate, personal, and poetic, often compared to Norah Jones or Joni Mitchell. She collaborates with pianist Darin Clendenin. She performs in clubs and at chamber events, where her delicate vocals and sincere lyrics stand out.
