Mayer Hawthorne, born Andrew Mayer Cohen, is an American singer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He began his career with the hip-hop group Athletic Mic League before moving to Los Angeles. In 2009, he released his debut album "A Strange Arrangement" under Stones Throw Records, earning acclaim for revitalizing classic soul sounds. Subsequent albums include "How Do You Do" (2011), "Where Does This Door Go" (2013), and "Man About Town" (2016). In 2023, he released "For All Time".
