Nightwish

Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band formed in 1996 in Kitee. The original lineup included keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and vocalist Tarja Turunen. They were later joined by drummer Jukka Nevalainen and bassist Sami Vänskä. The band has released ten studio albums, including 'Angels Fall First' (1997), 'Once' (2004), and 'Yesterwynde' (2024). They are known for their symphonic metal style, combining metal with orchestral elements. Nightwish has received multiple awards, including 14 Emma-gaala awards.
