Nirvana

Nirvana was an American rock band formed in 1987 in Aberdeen, Washington. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic, with drummer Dave Grohl joining in 1990. The band is known for its contributions to the grunge and alternative rock genres. Their second album, "Nevermind" (1991), featured the hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit," achieving widespread commercial success. This was followed by "In Utero" (1993). Nirvana received several awards, including a Grammy for "MTV Unplugged in New York" (1994). The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
