REFLECTIONS is a thirteen-track album by the Czech studio project NON-SEQUENCE, moving on the border between nu-metal, crossover and rock. Dense guitar riffs and hard-hitting rhythms meet electronics, melodic passages and various vocal styles here – from singing through screaming to rap. The lyrics are strictly in Czech and deal with topical issues of today as well as painful moments in ordinary human lives.

NON-SEQUENCE is made up of three musicians whose paths had previously crossed in the hardcore band FOURTH FACE: ZBK (Zbyněk Pošmura) – vocals, screams and rap, Milford (Miloslav Fajt) – drums, guitars, samples, music and lyrics, and Tom (Tomáš Sečkář) – bass and screams.
The album was created over the course of five years, and its thirteen tracks capture the development and transformation of the NON-SEQUENCE sound. The basic building blocks of the songs were created in Milford’s home studio, while a significant part of the collaboration took place remotely – bassist Tom lives in Florida. The album was mixed and mastered by Jirka Egrt, another former member of FOURTH FACE, also known for his work with Jolly Joker & P.B.U.
REFLECTIONS has a total running time of over 46 minutes and offers thirteen tracks that are not tied together by a single predefined template, but by the distinctive style of NON-SEQUENCE – a combination of heaviness, electronics, melody and Czech lyrics without any attempt to force the resulting music into a single genre box.
