NON-SEQUENCE is a studio project of three seasoned musicians whose paths had previously crossed in the hardcore band FOURTH FACE.
ZBK (Zbyněk Pošmura) – vocals, screams, rap
Milford (Miloslav Fajt) – drums, guitars, samples, music, lyrics
Tom (Tomáš Sečkář) – bass, screams
The fact that bassist Tom lives in Florida also attests to a certain irregularity and the rather unconventional functioning of the project. The core of NON-SEQUENCE's activities therefore relies on online communication and virtual musical collaboration.
The basic building blocks of the production are created in Miloslav Fajt's home studio, where the individual songs are recorded and arranged. The mixing and mastering of the album ODRAZY was handled by Jirka Egrt, another former member of FOURTH FACE, also known from his work in Jolly Joker & P.B.U.
NON-SEQUENCE is built on dense guitar riffs and machine-like rhythms in contrast with calmer elements, electronics, and melody. A prominent part consists of various vocal styles – from singing through screaming to rap. The lyrics, strictly in Czech, tackle sensitive current issues as well as the painful moments of ordinary human destinies.
After five years of creation, NON-SEQUENCE released the album ODRAZY in 2026. Thirteen tracks capture a cross-section of the project's work to date while also showing how its sound has evolved over the five years.
The goal of NON-SEQUENCE is not to adhere to a single precisely defined genre or to pre-set rules. The very name of the project captures the way the music is created – without stereotypes and with room for combining various approaches and influences. The result is music moving on the border of crossover, metal and rock.
