Pantera

Pantera is an American heavy metal band formed in 1981 in Arlington, Texas. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Dimebag Darrell, drummer Vinnie Paul, bassist Rex Brown, and vocalist Phil Anselmo. The band is recognized for contributing to the development of groove metal in the 1990s. Notable albums include "Cowboys from Hell" (1990), "Vulgar Display of Power" (1992), and "Far Beyond Driven" (1994), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Pantera received four Grammy nominations. After disbanding in 2003, the band reunited in 2022 for a tour with new members, guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante.
