Pentatonix

Pentatonix is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, consisting of Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. The group is known for their pop-style arrangements featuring vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, vocal percussion, and beatboxing. In 2011, they won the third season of NBC's The Sing-Off, earning $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music. Their discography includes several EPs and studio albums, such as "PTX, Vol. II" and "That's Christmas to Me." Pentatonix has won three Grammy Awards, including Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella in 2015 and 2016, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017.
