Sabaton

Sabaton is a Swedish heavy metal band from Falun, formed in 1999. They are known for their war-themed songs focusing on historical battles and wars. The current lineup consists of Joakim Brodén (vocals and keyboards), Pär Sundström (bass), Chris Rörland (lead guitar), Thobbe Englund (lead guitar), and Hannes Van Dahl (drums). Notable albums include "Primo Victoria" (2005), "Carolus Rex" (2012), and "The Great War" (2019). The band has received awards such as "Breakthrough Artist" in 2011 and "Best Live Band" in 2012, 2013, and 2018. In 2008, they founded their own festival, "Sabaton Open Air".
