Sepultura

Sepultura is a Brazilian metal band formed in 1984 by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera in Belo Horizonte. The band is known for its contributions to thrash metal, groove metal, and death metal. Notable albums include "Beneath the Remains" (1989), "Arise" (1991), "Chaos A.D." (1993), and "Roots" (1996). After Max Cavalera's departure in 1997, vocalist Derrick Green joined the band. In December 2023, the band announced a farewell tour for 2024 to mark their 40th anniversary, after which they plan to disband.
