Shaka Ponk

Shaka Ponk was a French musical band formed in Paris in 2002. Their music blended elements of electronic rock, punk rock, funk rock, and hip hop. They released their debut album, "Loco Con Da Frenchy Talkin'", in 2006, followed by "Bad Porn Movie Trax" in 2009. In 2011, they added vocalist Samaha Sam to the lineup and released "The Geeks and the Jerkin' Socks". In 2014, they simultaneously released two albums: "The White Pixel Ape (Smoking Isolate to Keep in Shape)" and "The Black Pixel Ape (Drinking Cigarettes to Take a Break)". "The Evol" followed in 2017. In 2022, they announced plans to disband in 2024 to focus on environmental projects. The products available from the artist Shaka Ponk include CDs, vinyls.
