Shearwater

Shearwater is an American indie rock band from Austin, Texas, led by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Jonathan Meiburg. The band was formed in 1999 by Meiburg and Will Sheff of Okkervil River as a side project for their quieter songs. Notable albums include "Palo Santo" (2006), "Rook" (2008), and "The Golden Archipelago" (2010). Their music is known for its natural imagery and Meiburg's distinctive vocal style. The band has collaborated with artists such as Wye Oak and Sharon Van Etten.
