Soilwork

Soilwork is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Helsingborg, formed in 1995 by Björn Strid and Peter Wichers. Originally known as Inferior Breed, the band changed its name to Soilwork in 1996. Their discography includes twelve studio albums, such as "Steelbath Suicide" (1998), "Natural Born Chaos" (2002), and "Övergivenheten" (2022). They are known for their melodic death metal style incorporating elements of alternative metal. Throughout their career, they have undergone several lineup changes; current members include Björn Strid (vocals), Sven Karlsson (keyboards), Sylvain Coudret (guitar), Bastian Thusgaard (drums), Rasmus Ehrnborn (bass), and Simon Johansson (guitar).
