Static Dress

Static Dress is an English rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, formed in 2018. The band consists of vocalist Olli Appleyard, drummer Sam Ogden, bassist George Holding, guitarist Vincent Weight, and an anonymous guitarist known as Contrast. Their music is classified as post-hardcore, metalcore, and emo, often incorporating elements of alternative rock, electronic music, and nu metal. They released their debut album, "Rouge Carpet Disaster," in 2022, followed by a deluxe version, "Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux)," in 2023. The band won the Heavy Music Award for Best Breakthrough Live Artist in 2023 and has been nominated for other awards. In 2024, they released the single "Crying."
