The Clash

The Clash was an English rock band formed in London in 1976. The original lineup consisted of Joe Strummer (vocals, rhythm guitar), Mick Jones (lead guitar, vocals), Paul Simonon (bass guitar), and Terry Chimes (drums). Nicky "Topper" Headon later joined as the drummer. The band was known for its punk rock style, blending elements of reggae, ska, and rockabilly. Notable albums include "The Clash" (1977), "London Calling" (1979), and "Combat Rock" (1982). In 2003, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
