The Eternal

The Eternal is an Australian-Finnish metal band formed in 2003 in Melbourne. Their music blends elements of doom and progressive metal with melancholic and emotive melodies. The band has released seven studio albums, including "The Sombre Light of Isolation" (2004), "Sleep of Reason" (2005), and "Kartika" (2008). In 2024, they released "Skinwalker," featuring guest artists such as Tomi Joutsen and Santeri Kallio from Amorphis. The current lineup includes Mark Kelson (guitar, vocals), Richie Poate (guitar), Niclas Etelävuori (bass), and Jan Rechberger (drums). The band has toured with acts like Amorphis, Anathema, and Opeth.
