The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis

The Messthetics is an American instrumental trio formed in 2016 in Washington, D.C., comprising bassist Joe Lally and drummer Brendan Canty, both former members of Fugazi, along with guitarist Anthony Pirog. Their music blends elements of experimental rock, progressive rock, art punk, and jazz fusion. In 2024, they collaborated with saxophonist James Brandon Lewis on the album "The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis," released on March 15, 2024, under Impulse! Records.
