The Slits

The Slits were a British band formed in 1976 that played a crucial role in the punk and post-punk scenes. Their debut album 'Cut', released in 1979, is often regarded as one of the best albums of the post-punk era and featured popular tracks like 'Typical Girls'. Throughout their career, the band embraced various influences, notably reggae, which distinguished them from other punk bands. After disbanding in 1982, they reunited in 2005 with new materials, including the album 'Trapped Animal'. Their innovative approach to punk and genre fusion has made them an iconic part of British music history. The products available from the artist The Slits include CDs.
