Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an American rock band founded in 1996 by producer and composer Paul O'Neill. The band is known for its rock operas that blend symphonic metal with Christmas themes. Their 1996 debut album, "Christmas Eve and Other Stories," features the hit "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24." This was followed by "The Christmas Attic" (1998) and "The Lost Christmas Eve" (2004), completing their Christmas trilogy.
