Type O Negative

Type O Negative was an American gothic metal band formed in 1989 in Brooklyn, New York. The original lineup consisted of Peter Steele (vocals, bass), Kenny Hickey (guitar), Josh Silver (keyboards), and Sal Abruscato (drums). The band was known for its unique blend of gothic and doom metal, with lyrics often exploring themes of romance, depression, and death. Their most notable albums include "Bloody Kisses" (1993), which achieved platinum certification, and "October Rust" (1996), which reached gold status. Following Peter Steele's death in 2010, the band disbanded.
