U2

U2 is an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976. The members are Bono (vocals, rhythm guitar), The Edge (lead guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums, percussion). The band has released 15 studio albums, including "The Joshua Tree" (1987) and "Achtung Baby" (1991). U2 has won 22 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. Their musical style encompasses rock and alternative rock, and they have collaborated with artists such as B.B. King and Johnny Cash. In 2025, U2 members received the Ivors Academy Fellowship for their contributions to songwriting.
