Void

Void was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1980 in Columbia, Maryland. The group was a pioneer in blending punk with heavy metal, influencing the emergence of the crossover thrash genre. Their discography includes the 1982 split album "Faith/Void Split" and the compilation "Sessions 1981-1983". The band was known for their energetic live performances and innovative sound, which influenced many subsequent bands in the hardcore and metal scenes.
