Volbeat

Volbeat is a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001, known for blending rock 'n' roll with heavy metal. The current lineup includes vocalist and rhythm guitarist Michael Poulsen, drummer Jon Larsen, and bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen. The band has released eight studio albums, including "Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil" (2007) and "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven" (2010), both achieving platinum status. Their latest album, "Servant of the Mind," was released in 2021. Volbeat received the "Best Debut Album" award at the Danish Metal Music Awards in 2005 and were nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Metal Performance" for the song "Room 24."
