The Police

The Police were a British rock band formed in London in 1977. The members were Sting (vocals, bass guitar), Andy Summers (guitar), and Stewart Copeland (drums). Their music blended elements of punk, reggae, and pop. Their debut album, "Outlandos d'Amour" (1978), included hits like "Roxanne" and "Can't Stand Losing You". This was followed by successful albums "Reggatta de Blanc" (1979) and "Synchronicity" (1983), which featured the song "Every Breath You Take". The band received multiple awards, including Grammys, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
