Ego, born Michal Straka, is a Slovak rapper and member of the group Kontrafakt alongside Rytmus and DJ Anys. The group was formed in 2001 and debuted with the album "E.R.A." in 2004. In 2012, Ego released the single "Žijeme len raz," which became a hit. His first solo album, "Precedens," was released in 2017 and features 15 tracks with guests such as Rytmus, Ben Cristovao, and Paulie Garand. This was followed by the album "Egotron" in 2020. Ego is known for his contributions to the Slovak hip-hop scene and collaborations with various artists.
