Martina Janková is a Swiss soprano of Czech origin, known for her interpretations of Mozart and Baroque music. She studied in Ostrava and Basel and, from 1998, was a member of the Zurich Opera House ensemble. She has performed at festivals in Salzburg and Vienna, as well as with the Cleveland Orchestra in the USA. Her notable roles include Susanna in "The Marriage of Figaro," Despina in "Così fan tutte," and Zerlina in "Don Giovanni." She has collaborated with conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Franz Welser-Möst, and William Christie. In addition to opera, she engages in concert performances and song recitals. Since 2020, she has been a vocal professor at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
