Miroslav Šmajda is a Slovak singer and songwriter who placed second in the 2009 Česko Slovenská SuperStar competition. In 2010, he released his debut album "Čo sa týka lásky". In 2012, under the pseudonym Max Jason Mai, he represented Slovakia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Don't Close Your Eyes". He later performed with the bands Terrapie and Walda Gang. His musical style encompasses pop and rock.
